About

As an organisation we will be competing with no other youth soccer development tournament in the continent, since CCA is a brand new and a very unique concept, aimed at developing youth soccer in our continent, whilst affording young soccer athletes an opportunity to showcase their talent.  As a nonprofit organisation ourselves, we hope to secure fiscal sponsorship from donors.

We will be working closely with FIFA, CAF, Governments institutions and other sports development bodies, to make our initiative a great success.

VISION

In  Africa there are numerous opportunities for elementary football development through primary and secondary school learners to play, but once players  graduate, their chances of staying involved in the game becomes slim and at times fall apart. While a small number of soccer players are recruited to play professionally, the majority of other remaining players give up the sport, because local clubs are pre occupied with a huge number of players or simple focus their energies on once-off competitions, with no interest in talent development.

THE PLAN

Our plan is to create a professional platform for players, and use the platform to prepare young soccer players for professional tournaments.  Africa has a numerous number of soccer development academies, soccer schools and soccer development clubs.  Almost in each and every country in Africa there is a handful number of professional soccer development initiatives taking place, however there are a limited number of professional platforms, established to enhance the holistic development of youth in soccer. This makes the system becomes congested, and creates a high rising frustration of soccer players who become exhausted and end up throwing the towel, due to age restrictions on soccer life cycle.
